5.1. Tow Cable Characteristics
The physical and electrical characteristics contained in this document are believed to be
reliable and are derived from vendor-supplied data based upon industry standards.
¾ Element #1: One shielded twisted pair #16 AWG
¾ Element #2: One shielded twisted pair #20 AWG
¾ Element #3: One shielded twisted pair #20 AWG
¾ Strength Member: 1600 kg (3500 lb.) minimum breaking strength
295 kg (650 lb.) working strength.
¾ Nominal Cable Weight: 30.8 kg per 100 m (207 lb/1000 ft.)

5.2. AC power Cable
The supplied 2 meter AC Power Cable is used to connect the 3100P Topside Topside to
an AC power source. The source may be 50/60Hz and either 120 or 240 Volts (nominal).
The AC Power color code for the cable is:
Black = Live 120 to 240 VAC
White = Neutral
Green = Ground
